"Big Al" Parks Found!

"Big Al" Parks website

"Big Al's" crime was committed in the 70's when he was 18 and street violence was a matter of survival not glory. He started out doing time in Walla Walla State Penitentiary back when it was rated as the most deadly prison in the United States. He earned the respect of the other inmates, and at the same time completed a Bachelors in Psychology through Walla Walla Community College. He is currently enrolled in a "MAP" program where the Department of Corrections steps him down through the security levels to help him adjust back to life in the free world. Because he was sentenced so long ago he is still under the indeterminant sentencing system, which means he must convince a parole board that he is ready for release. He is hoping for a release date within the next couple of years. He's not looking for financial support, but he is hoping to meet that special someone to share the rest of his free life with. He attends religious services on a more than weekly basis as a pacifist Muslim and is currently the acting Imam (Muslim teacher) for his group.

Personal Information:
5' 10" 210 lbs (Solid Muscle)
Single never married
Expected Release: 2003

To contact please write:

How do you determine the date a website is opened or started?? If I am correct, this web page was created on 7/13/05...how is that possible?

I could be wrong???

Hey, all of a sudden, that page doesn't work anymore! I just read it and looked on it, now it's gone...

What gives?

It is happening to me too. I clicked the link a bit ago and it worked, now it isn't working. It says it has exceeded its allocated data transfer...which means someone is currently uploading too much data (exceeded what they are allowed). I am guessing it is a fake site or just created today??? When I right clicked on properties earlier it said

Created on 7/13/05 and last modified 7/13/05.

Yeah, it has to be a fake...either that or someone else is doing it for "Big Al"...It doesn't necessarily have to be "Jet".

I see that there is an archive for it as far back as June 8, 2002

How odd that it was created today..and VERY recently like in the last few hours. That is why the link won't work right now. Whoever the site belongs too is exceeding the allocated uploads...which means someone is making recent changes on the web page.

Site's still there for me. Says "Modified: Tuesday, May 07, 2002 11:15:18 AM" when I check page info, too.

Nevermind, geocities cuts a site off after it's had so much bandwidth I think.

Anonymous said...

Mickey Rat could you tell me how to find that info out?? I right click and it says created 7-13-05 and last modified on 7-13-05??

How can I see the archived dates??
THANKS

Guys, it wasn't created today. I found this site earlier this afternoon and posted it on websleuths.com.
Here is the thread:
http://websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=728924&postcount=48

I found it by searching google with the terms "walla walla community college" and "big al." Those being two terms Duncan used to describe his buddy on his blog entry. The link to the site is the last of 6 hits returned. Google also cached the page on July 11.

I also posted to websleuths.com the original image that went along with that blog entry, a painting made of Big Al when he was younger. Here is that image:

Does anyone know if Joseph Duncan would have access to a computer or email while being held at Kootenai County Jail?

He isn't talking, why would he get on a computer knowing good and well IF he did use it he would be monitored.
He's getting nothing, but time and death.

I hope the guards in KCJ know about this post he made at alt.prisons.officer, LOL:

"Hate to break the news to you, guy, but prison guards (opps, I'm sorry, I mean "Corrections Officers") have always been the scum of law abiding
society.
You'd better hang onto that paycheck, because that's all your worth."

My husband works for the DOC in our state. He said there is NO WAY he has access to a computer in jail. If he did, it would soley be allowed to try to gain information (passwords he may use to log in) but 99% sure there is now way they would allow him to use a computer. Probably has nothing but is orange jumpsuit and a pillow.

If you right click on an image for the properties it often says it's created the on the current date, it doesn't mean it was created today.

Thanks for the info. I was curious about the computer access b/c I'm a Canuck. Up here, it's felt that inmate-owned computers represent an overall security threat. Depending on the program and institution, however, having access to a computer can have a positive impact on the successful reintegration of an offender and because it is a way to continue to maintain contact with the community - again, in limited circumstances - Corrections will provide inmates with access to computers in a CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT. But I guess in the best of worlds, Joseph Duncan won't be worried about having to reintegrate to a society he'll never likely see again.

Prosecutors haven't even said whether or not they're asking for the death sentance yet...What's the deal with that?

Notice the bump on his lip in his booking picture in Minnesota for fondling the two young boys - right out of their description of him, yet he feigns surprise at the description in his blog.

I hope the parole board hears all about Al's relationship with Jazzi. Does anyone know what Big Al is in prison for?
